Sacramento County is recruiting for Senior Public Health Microbiologists to perform laboratory work for bacteriological, serological, parasitological, virological and mycological analysis of environmental samples, human and animal specimens for the detection and identification of infectious diseases, and serve as lead worker to lower-level microbiologists. 

Requires a valid Public Health Microbiologist Certificate issued by the California State Department of Health and six months experience in any public or private agency performing duties equivalent to those of a Public Health Microbiologist in Sacramento County. 

Salary range: $25.52--$31.03 hourly, $2,482.40 bi-weekly, $4,440.50--$5,399.25 monthly, $53,285.76--$64,790.64 annually.
