The 58thAnnual Institute of the California Association of Public Health Laboratory
Directors (CAPHLD) will be held at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West, Sacramento, CA from April 14-16, 2008, followed by the BT Symposium North (4/17) and South (4/18). The Program Committee has put together an exciting series of presentations for us.
The Institute will begin with luncheon on Monday, April 14th. The program will include sessions on epidemiology, Rabies, and management of TB patients to name a few, and will include updates from Dr. Horton, the Richmond Lab Chiefs and important program leads and directors. An important introduction to our InterWise conferencing system will be provided and we will also use this opportunity to engage in networking of local Public Health Laboratories.

In order to ensure room availability, we urge all members to make early reservations. Please don’t wait for approvals from your administrations to make your reservation. Canceling your reservation is easier than trying to negotiate the release of additional discounted rooms, and we want all members to attend the Institute!
