Interested in becoming a Public Health Microbiologist Trainee? Here's how:

  • The Laboratory Field Services (LFS) will only accept application for approval to train through its PERL website.
  • Create an account in PERL: https://healthappportal.cdph.ca.gov/osphld/perl
  • If you require assistance with the website, please contact technical support by calling CDPH Help Desk at (844)421-5091 or by emailing LFSHelpDesk@cdph.ca.gov

ANNOUNCEMENT: The County of San Luis Obispo Public Health Laboratory is planning to interview candidates in September 2018 for a Public Health Microbiologist trainee during January 1-June 30 2019. Please send 1) a resume, 2) a Laboratory Field Services (LFS) approval to train letter, and 3) a Statement of Career Intent to Dr. Jim Beebe at jbeebe@co.slo.ca.us.
