CDPH VRDL
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Heluna Health invites applications for a full-time Research Assistant in the CDPH Viral and Rickettsial Disease Laboratory (VRDL). The candidate will be responsible for performing and maintaining preventive maintenance on equipment, performing quality control processes, record keeping, preparing media and reagents and assisting the laboratory with other procedures to ensure compliance with CLIA regulations. Maintaining an organized, neat, and clean work environment, working well in a team environment, and being organized and detail-oriented are essential. The successful candidate will participate in projects relating to vector-borne diseases and viral vaccine preventable diseases contributing to detection and surveillance of these agents for public health purposes.
