The County of San Diego is seeking a dynamic and forward thinking leader with a passion for building healthy communities. This is a unique opportunity for a qualified individual to work for a Biosafety Level 3 Public Health Laboratory (PHL). This individual will lead the County’s upcoming PHL Modernization Project. This positions the region for future innovative ventures in the areas of public health laboratory science. The Public Health Services department, in the County’s Health and Human Services Agency, is a local health department nationally accredited by the Public Health Accreditation Board and first of the urban health departments to be accredited.
